It looks as though the Government has shelved plans to reduce the Money Purchase Annual Allowance from £10,000 to £4,000. The reduction which was due to be confirmed in clause 12 of the forthcoming Finance Bill, has been dropped, according to a note on the parliament website. People may still need to tread carefully however, as there is always the possibility that it could still be introduced and backdated to April 6 this year.
